DECKLIST Software

The Shelf List Disk is available in MARC and dBase formats. 

The dBase disk can be used with DECKLIST, a software package available from Folland Software. DECKLIST is an intuitive, easy-to-use program designed to manipulate the bibliographic data on the Shelf List Disk. DECKLIST requires an IBM PC or compatible running DOS 2.1 or better. Also, the dBase disk can be used with dBase or any dBase-compatible database management software, including Paradox and Microsoft Access. 

Our MARC record disk can be used in conjunction with your library's software by uploading the records directly into the main library system.

DECK fields include:

  • Item Number 
  • Title 
  • SuDoc Class Number 
  • Shipping List Number 
    •  Also, a file can be modified to contain check-in dates, location and other information relevant to your library.
