Folland Software has available DECKLIST, a software package to manage
the data it creates on its Shelf List Disk. The Shelf List Disk provides
depository libraries with depository library records in electronic format
for the items they receive through the depository library program. The
DECKLIST
software gives Shelf List Disk subscribers an intuitive, easy-to-use program
designed to manipulate this bibliographic data.
With a few keystrokes, users of DECKLIST can:
Import the dBase-format files on Folland Software's Shelf List Disk directly
into the DECKLIST program.
Create a shelflist with data arranged in SuDoc classification number order
- a feature no off-the-shelf database management software can provide.
Create a list of titles in alphabetical order.
Search DECKLIST files by item number, SuDoc number, title and shipping
list number
Insert locations of documents unique to your library.
Create a list of documents that have been in the DECKLIST database
for a defined period. This will create lists of documents that can be weeded
from the collection.
Print labels for all documents in the DECKLIST database.
