We continue to work on creating a Windows version of both The Data Magician and the DECKList products. Customers will be notified as soon as these are available. There is no projected date for either product at this time.

As of July 1st 1998, Folland Software Services Inc. began providing the DECK service to U.S. Depository Libraries. This service has been acquired from Bernan Associates to complement our focus on data conversion and libraries. DECK customers are encouraged to give us a call at (519) 836-9682 or send an email to deck@folland.com We welcome any suggestions or ideas customers may have to expand or improve the DECK product. We are currently in the process of re-creating our website to better represent both the DECK product and The Data Magician.
This release includes support for Inmagic Inc's DB/Textworks data structures (it will read the .DBS structure file and extract field names) and can accept and create multiword field tags (eg: 'Publication Date'). It can now read fixed-length field databases and can create custom-designed tagged formats. There are many other new features - you can read about them in the latest "ReadMe" file. Although the new version is not a Windows program, it does work well under Windows (and much faster than in the old DOS mode!)
With the new release, there is a new lower price! The new price will be US$195 or CAN$250. Existing Data Magician, MultiAdaptor, or MARC Adaptor users may upgrade for US$60 or CAN$75. The upgrade includes a revised manual with all new features fully documented, plus the new version on diskette.

to order an upgrade. Make sure you include the serial number of
the product you are upgrading.
